This research group’s activities are concentrated on using astronomical calibration data to derive information on the state of the ionosphere. The dTEC data, which are currently calculated after taking an observation and extraction of ionospheric phases, provide information on the spatial gradients in plasma density, allowing for detection of disturbances such as TIDs.
Currently, an effort is being made to incorporate the light product of dTEC estimation as a part of the pipeline. This would allow us to get estimates of the disturbance level while measurement is being conducted.
